Day 11

Day 11
September 18

It was 39 degrees this morning as I started out and since I was climbing all day the temperatures stayed cool never getting much above the low 50’s.  My entire ride today was beautiful starting along the Snake River valley to Swan Valley, Idaho then heading into the mountains to Victor, Idaho and finally into Wyoming over Teton pass.  The traffic going over the pass was very heavy truck and auto traffic with little to no shoulder.  The climb starts out gradual then maintains 10% for the last several miles.  It was a tough climb and I was glad to see the summit.

Marilyn and I are looking forward to a rest day tomorrow with no alarm clock!
