This morning we awoke in Jacksboro, Texas to a light fog and cool temperatures. My ride took me through rolling ranch country with very little traffic. The temperature stayed cool through the morning making for a great ride. It was a short day ending in Denton, Texas. From there we drove to Fort Worth where we were met by our great friend, Ron Davis. After visiting St. Andrews Church to familiarize ourselves with Sunday’s schedule we were hosted to a lovely dinner by Ron’s mother-in-law, Betty Claire Dupree McKnight.
What a blessing it is to have such wonderful friends to welcome us across the country, to make new friends as we travel and, most of all, to have the opportunity to share our story of hope. There are times when I marvel at the journey we are on – thankful to know we are being led by the Master. As Oswald Chambers said: “Faith does not know where it is being led but it knows and loves the One who is leading”
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” Jeremiah 33:3
